Paint Repairs
We utilise one of the best paint brands in the Market. We use DeBeer computerised colour matching system.
Unlike panel shops, we do not respray large areas to fix minor damage. Instead, we utilise small area spray painting and blending onto the damaged area only. This means you can avoid paying for a new bumperĀ panel through insurance claim. More often than not, the repair cost is lower than your insurance excess. This results in keeping the insurance no-claim bonus intact and ensuring renewed premiums is not affected.
We offer several types of paint repairs:
Scratch Repairs
If light scratches or paint transfers as a result from door edges of other cars contacting on the paintwork from parking at shopping centres or train stations are present and has not gone through the paint work, it will be most likely to able to be removed by using compound rubbing.
Paint Chips /Small Deep Scratches
We utilise the brush touch up technique. The colour is produced by means of the vehicle paint code on the computerised paint system or visually matched (for non-automotive application). This sort of repair is meant to take the eye away from the obvious chipped paint or minute scratch that has taken the paint off. This sort of repair is not applicable with Pearl type paints.
Spray Touch Up
This method of repair is utilised when brush touch-ups is no longer a repair option. This repair method is primarily sand, mask, spray primer, spray base coat and final clear coat. Best used for solid, metallic and pearl type paints. We are able to also repair bare plastic (unpainted bumper) which has two-tone colours and black/grey type appearance.
Kindly take note that:
- We are unable to repair custom paint jobs and matte finished paintwork.
- we are unable to perform repairs with client supplied paints for spray repairs
